Because of its low cost, high specific surface area, adjustable pores, surface chemical properties and high structural stability, carbon materials are widely used as carriers to support Pd NPs to catalyze the decomposition of formic acid to produce hydrogen. However, the preparation of carbon materials generally has problems such as cumbersome operation and high cost. In view of this, in this article, we have adopted a simple and low-cost method to prepare a series of carbon materials, and synthesized high catalytic activity and selection for catalyzing the decomposition of formic acid to hydrogen by the method of sodium borohydride reduction.
