Snape hates Harry because he is the son of James Potter, but me anwhile Lily's affection motivates him to protect Harry.Because Snape used to be bullied by James Potter and his lifelong lover Lily was stolen by James, Snape hates James. Since the beginning in the Hogwarts school, there existed the divergence between Snape and James Potter, James Potter was open-minded and bright, sunshine and handsome, he disobeyed rules to become the talent in the Quidditch pitch and he was swelled, while Snape was introverted, depressed and heavy, he did not care about his appearance and immersed in the research of potions. Both of them disliked each other and they were unple asant about each other, and their enmities were more deeply developed due to the reason that both of them liked Lily.
