Taking mcs-5l single chip microcomputer as an example, it is shown that MCS-51 single chip microcomputer executes an instruction for L2 clock cycles. That is to say, when a single chip computer runs an instruction, it must use R2 clock cycles. Without this clock, the single-chip computer can not run, and there is no way to timing and time-related operations. The clock circuit is the heart of the microcomputer, which controls the two rhythms of the computer. CPU accomplishes different instruction functions through complex sequential circuits.
