While the above formulation will generate a sufficiently inclusivePareto front of desired EMS, our aim in this work is to generate morecomprehensive insights regarding the trade-offs between different OFWe therefore transform (9) into an aggregate index, in order to thengenerate Pareto fronts between the index and OF and find how theoverall performance (i.e. in all OF considered simultaneously) of eachEMS is affected by changes in each OF separately. We therefore proposean aggregate index J which merges the OF under a unified criterionwhich satisfies the selection goals described in (9) (i.e. the simultaneousminimization and maximization of the corresponding OF), as follows:
