6.1.8. The tests must be performed by a Certified Thermographer as defined by the NETA and ASNT specifications. All test results and determinations made as a result of those tests must be endorsed by the thermographer and all test results documented must bear their signature. An approved FLIR report will be generated for each assembly IR Scanned.6.1.9. The only approved testing method must use a purely resistive load that produces a thermal rise to stable state condition prior to inspection with an IR camera. This method can only be used on AC distribution circuits not containing power supplies, drivers or other similar devices that could be damaged, unless an AMAT or supplier designed test fixture will support the loading of these devices.All other requirements contained in this specification remain in effect.
