Under the premise that the actual operating condition and rotor oil pump flow of the vertical shaft diesel engine for the outboard engine meet the design requirements, the performance of the lubrication system can not meet the demand of the diesel engine. In this paper, a lot of research is made on the effect of the structure of the rotor oil pump oil cavity on the performance of the diesel engine lubrication system. The optimization of oil cavity structure can enhance the lubrication system to meet the actual operating conditions of the diesel engine. By optimizing the structure of the oil cavity, the time and cross-section of the incoming oil chamber connection are avoided, resulting in the reverse flow of oil back into the oil cavity, so as to improve the volume efficiency, improve the oil pressure size and trend, and optimize the performance of the lubrication system. And through the whole machine test to verify the correctness and rationality of the proposed method.
