DMIN DISSERTATION PROJECT FORMAT The Traditional Dissertation Format for a DMin-PC Final Project is comprised of seven chapters written in Turabian format (maximum of 125-150 pages in length The seven chapters include: 1. ministry problem or opportunity to be addressed and a purpose statement describing how the project specifically addresses the ministry issue 2. context of the ministry addressed showing historical background and current situation 3. interaction with literature contributing to an action-oriented approach to a ministry issue 4. exegesis and formulation of a biblical and theological framework supporting the action-oriented approach to ministry5. specific research methodology to gather data and show tabulated results, a concise project plan showing steps for implementation of a specific application strategy to address the problem, and an evaluation strategy to evaluate project outcomes. 6. description of the results of the project and how these results compare to those anticipated 7. reflection on principles learned through the research and recommendations for future work based on the data gathered and the ministry application implemented in the project
