Stephen and all,The housing issue is a 0.3 gap at small bearing hole side before locking the bolts, detail as below picturesThe attached inspection reports includes the result of after finish machining & before unlocking. All the features were within tolerance.QFYK concluded the issue was caused by incorrect loading during unlocking process (deforming).QFYK has tried several methods but can’t remove the deforming. QFYK wants to check with you if Rex-Australia can do some adjustment during assembly as below:Set the big bearing hole as datumà put on the bolts without tightàput on the bearingsàtight the boltsà put on the dowel pin If above adjustment suggestion is not acceptable, QFYK wants to try laser surfacing welding on the joint face then skim the joint face and re-bore the bearing holes. QFYK is not very confident this method will work and the lead-time will be a little longer. If it is fail, QFYK has to make a new housing. Looking forward to get your comments and suggestion, thanks!
