Recently, metal–organic frameworks materials have been utilized as the new type of precursor to manufacture the functional materials with hybrid porous carbon due to their adjustable pore size, high surface area, and tunable structure. However, the synthesis of MOF-derived multi-heteroatom-doped carbon nanocomposites is limited by choosing some typical MOF-precursors, such as ZIF-67 , ZIF-8 and MIL-101. Furthermore, an additional sulfurization process is required to prepare the transition metal sulfides when using these MOFs as precursors. To the best of our knowledge, there is no research until now that utilizing MOFs as a precursor to synthesize the Co9S8/MoS2 embedded in N, S, O-doped carbon nanohybridcatalyst by one-step method.
