Remote sensing imagery is the data source studied in this article, and it is an important basis for obtaining surface information and other factors. The TM/ETM remote sensing images provided by the United States Landsat (Landsat-5, 7) have become an important remote sensing data source for earth resources and the environment widely used in various countries around the world. It has high spatial resolution, spectral resolution, extremely rich information and high positioning accuracy. This kind of remote sensing data source has been widely used in the extraction of various thematic information such as land use/cover dynamic monitoring, vegetation parameter inversion, environmental pollution and disaster monitoring. The purpose of this research is to analyze the ecological environmental impact of the development of mineral resources in the study area. Taking into account the research content and the specific conditions of the watershed, TM images can meet the needs of the research, so this study chooses TM images as the basis of remote sensing data. When selecting remote sensing data, try to select high-quality images with high definition, relatively rich tones, and less clouds and snow as much as possible. The quality of remote sensing data directly affects the interpretation accuracy of land use/land cover information in the study area and the extraction accuracy of environmental factors such as vegetation coverage and soil erosion. This research analyzes the impact of mineral resource development on the ecological environment. The information on these environmental factors is the data basis for the research and plays a key role in the research results. Therefore, it is very important to choose high-quality remote sensing images.
