If the thermometer is handled at length or if there is a significant temperaturedifference with respect to the room temperature, a countdown will appear °n thedisplay indicating that you should wait until automatic 怕mperature calibration hasbeen completed. At this point you have 2 options:Automatic Quick Calibration System (AQCS):without touching the thermometer, wait until the countdown has run its course andautomatic quick calibration is completed. The countdown will continue updating aslong as differences in temperature are detected (for example, because the thermometerhas been handled). At the end of the countdown, the thermometer can take sufficientlyaccurate readings.
