IV. Personnel SecurityEach current or prospective business partner must have in place processes to screen prospective employeesand to periodically check current employees. These processes include:· Pre-Employment VerificationApplication information, such as employment history and references must be verified prior to employment.· Background checks / investigationsConsistent with foreign, federal, state, and local regulations, background checks and investigations should beconducted for prospective employees. Once employed, periodic checks and reinvestigations should beperformed based on cause, and/or the sensitivity of the employee’s position.· Personnel Termination ProceduresBusiness partners must have procedures in place to remove identification, facility, and system access forterminated employees.V. Procedural SecurityCurrent and prospective business partners must have in place the following security measures to ensure theintegrity and security of processes relevant to the transportation, handling, and storage of cargo in the supplychain. These procedural requirements also apply to the Company’s operations.
