SPIRITUAL CAREINTRODUCTION Spiritual care is one of the core aspects of palliative care. Spirituality not only relates to one’s faith, but it is to do with how we live, what we treasure and value, and peace of mind. Religiosity is the manifested actions of one’s spirituality or the practiced rituals of an organized belief. When dealing with patients (and ourselves), we have to remember that all patients have spiritual needs but only some will have religious needs.
