Rear steam-off pipesno concerns, released. Sample will show how visible they will be in model. If this will ever be a problem, we could shorten them below cab floor. But only if necessary7. Power reverse front and rearLooking good to me. That will surely work. Please only explain what is necessary concerning the vertical lever of rear power reverse that we have already discussed. Is it removable/only assembled for showcase and big radius ?8. Drive principleI like the slim look of the gearboxes. Only slight concern is regarding gear noise. In actual design, motor speed is only slightly reduced before getting to worm shaft. That may cause noise with gears that are not top quality. Please make sure the gearbox is properly lubricated with grease9. Decoder position and –accessI love your solution. Customer-friendly and easy to use. Minimizes wire length and thus optimizes EMC compliance.10. SpeakersThe position of the two speakers in boiler is OK. Based on the remaining space, the speaker boxes are rather small and thus low frequencies will not come out very strong. Just in case the sound will not be as good as expected on sample test, please keep the option of a subwoofer in tender in mind. Maybe that could also be thought about as an accessory that customers could additionally order and equip if they want to get rid of their neighborhood JI guess it is loud enough, but we must check that possible issue.11. Magnetic sensor and ring magnetDecoder can only handle ONE magnetic sensor for adjusting chuff and puff. You can remove one of them including PCB. Keep the positions for assembly in design, so you can decide which one is easier to handle concerning wires.12. Front coupler imitation (MSG10-1212)What direction is the front coupler cover to be opened ? Clockwise or counter-clockwise when looking on it from above ?I guess clockwise. Can it open enough that coupler imitation can flip out enough to look real ?13. What is the electro magnet MSG10-2666 for ?14. Lights:This is the only technical issue I did not yet check in detail. I saw worklight below runboard (exact position is to be checked, but looks good), main light, number plates, marker lights (wired 3mm LED ? Does that bring out light through the 3 lenses ? – And where are they on tender ? I thought they have to be assembled rear due to American railway standards), cab light. But for my understanding, is MSG10-2149 cab fire that is visible from outside in real (because of the stoker; I saw this in a video but was not sure about the function) ?15. Tethering wireI am not sure how this is done in Big Boy. For me it looks like a step back to outdated version that needs to fumble in and pull out at the wire. We had discussed a better solution with SNCF, and some day we should also realize a customer-friendly tender coupler (mechanical and electrical).
