Abstract: Automotive lighting system plays an active preventive role in automobile safety. Whether in daytime or at night, automobile external lighting and interior lighting play a very important role. Considering the requirements of energy saving and environmental protection, many new technologies of automobile lighting safety and energy saving have emerged. Perfect automobile lighting system and accurate and timely signal indicating lamps can effectively prevent and reduce them. Fewer traffic accidents occur, providing drivers with safety assurance, and endless new lighting sources and new technologies constantly developing also provide more design inspiration and design space for car interior and exterior styling. This paper introduces some advanced headlamp safety technologies, including hernia lamp, LED lamp, optical fiber lighting, intelligent car lamp, adaptive headlamp system and headlamp automatic leveling system.<br>Key words: automobile lighting, hernia lamp, LED lamp, headlight, intelligent car lamp<br>
