In order to cooperate with the construction of the "Airport Avenue and Landscape Greening Project in Jianyang City", a Song Dynasty cemetery was excavated in the third group of Shengyang Village, Jiancheng Street, Jianyang City in March 2020. All are single-stone chamber tombs, a total of 6 tombs, of which 3 are decorated stone chamber tombs. Based on the analysis of the tomb shape, the carvings in the tomb, and the unearthed artifacts, it is preliminarily inferred that the tomb age is from the late Northern Song Dynasty to the early Southern Song Dynasty. Although the specifications of this batch of tombs are not high, and the carvings are not rich, the inverted burial methods reflected in the tombs are rare in other parts of Sichuan, providing new physical materials for studying the funeral customs of the Song Dynasty in Sichuan.
