Pigment printing is the simplest and most common printing method. It uses the principle of polymer compound (adhesive) forming film on the fabric surface to firmly adhere pigments of various colors without affinity and reactivity to the fabric, and then fixes the paint on the fabric surface through baking to endow the fabric with various colors and patterns. The quality of pigment printed fabrics is closely related to the types and quality of adhesives used, which are mainly reflected in the handfeel, rubbing fastness and printing color of products. Therefore, the development of pigment printing depends to a large extent on pigment printing adhesives. The preparation of high-performance adhesives is an important goal to improve the quality of pigment printing. At present, polyacrylate adhesives, vinyl acetate adhesives and polyurethane adhesives are widely used in printing at home and abroad.
