Berberine, also known as berberine, can be used in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, and can be used as a cardioprotective agent to protect various cardiac toxicity. Doxorubicin (doxorubicin, DOX) is an anthracycline antibiotic with broad anti-tumor spectrum and high clinical efficacy. Doxorubicin is the first-line drug for the treatment of a variety of malignant tumors. However, due to its high myocardial affinity, high-dose DOX can lead to severe acute myocardial injury and heart failure. The main mechanism of DOX induced cardiac injury is to induce cardiomyocyte apoptosis, which involves oxidative stress, p53 pathway, caspase-3 pathway, Ca2 + pathway, p38mark pathway, P13K / Akt pathway, DNA damage and so on. Berberine has obvious antagonism to dox induced myocardial injury, but its detailed mechanism is still unclear. Based on the traditional animal and cell experimental methods, we added cardiomyocytes derived from embryonic stem cells as a research tool to solve the problem that human cardiomyocytes are difficult to obtain in vitro, which can be compared with the results of animal cell experiments. We will explore the possible mechanism of berberine on DOX induced myocardial injury from multiple perspectives, so as to provide a reference for berberine heart transplantation The clinical application of protective effect provides a more accurate theoretical basis.<br>
