A beautiful guitar by the master from Ohio. Superb maple coupled with a master grade Spruce creates a warm and luscious sound with an excellent setup for ease of play and sound production. He creates a natural sound using all wood for the honeycomb, CNC’ing the material directly on the thickness of the top. “The holes are then closed with a thin layer of Spruce. The fact that the lamination does not reach the edges of the top, gives the guitar a more natural, traditional sound. I did start making this top design since 2003 with small changes during the years.” – as per Frederich.I’m in full agreement with Frederich. The guitar is very natural sounding, with excellent volume and exquisite handling of her expression, with nuance and musicality. She is additionally, very pretty. The BearClaw Spruce (not a defect? I have actually had this questioned?) gives her a translucent, almost 3D effect, while the Flamed Curly Maple is self-explanatory. A superb guitar.
