Infinite series is the addition of infinite items, which may converge or diverge. When a series converges, its sum exists. However, there is no simple and easy unified summation formula for finding the convergent infinite series sum. From the above three examples, it is not difficult to find that solving the problem of infinite series by using probability statistics method avoids the common defect of solving infinite series in mathematical analysis. Using probability models such as generalized Bernoulli model and according to the nature of relevant probability statistics, the technical problems can be solved intuitively, and the advantages are obvious.
