SS4G car body is an ovrall loading srneture of fningshage The srctre is made fomhigh-strength low ally 16Mn, shown as fig 4.1, it consists of underfame, side wall rof,driver cab and equipments insalltion frame. The underframe under it is the base of car body,and it is the main load bearing part as well. The side walls are on two sides of car body. Thedriver cab is in front of car body and the rear wall of car body is on rear end; they are all weldedinto a whole structure. The equipments installation frame is welded on underframe; it is the basefor installing equipments inner car body and wiring cable and so on. When assembling car body,five connecting crossbeams connect two side walls as a boxlike shell. Four removable roofslocate on top of car body. The cow-catcher locates at lower part of the driver cab, for removingobstacles on the rail. The bottom of the main part of the cow -catcher is set up the adjustableparts of the small cow-catcher; the distance of nadir of cow-calcher to the rail levelis 110=10 mm. The coupler and side buffer which locate on two ends of the car body are used to drawthe train. Load bearing stueture of the SS.co car body can witstnd a saic lgndinal level foreof 1960 kN at the coupler centre without any permanent deformation.
