Abstract: Carrying out special on-the-job training to improve teachers' physical education ability is an effective way to improve kindergarten teachers' physical education ability. Using questionnaires and interviews to investigate 186 kindergarten teachers, it is found that teachers have problems in the formulation of physical activity plans, physical activity design, organization and implementation. Based on the survey results, training recommendations are put forward: based on the core goals of physical education, clarify the training goals; based on the practical needs of teachers, improve the training content; focus on the active development of teachers and integrate training methods; establish a tracking guidance mechanism to improve training effects. <br>Keywords: kindergarten teacher; physical education ability; current situation; training strategy
