The influence of preparation on dissolution is mainly related to prescription (excipients, surfactants, etc.), process and drug interaction. Although the dissolution of rifampicin tablets with different crystal forms may be slightly different, the dissolution of rifampicin tablets with different disintegration time is obviously different due to the different prescription and process, which indicates that the preparation process is the key factor affecting the dissolution of rifampicin tablets. Modern analytical techniques help us to further understand the influence of preparation factors on drug dissolution behavior. In order to better understand the relationship between disintegration and dissolution of rapid release tablets, dynamic optical particle imaging and particle number balance model were used to study and monitor the particle number and size of two kinds of rapid release tablets with the same prescription and different particle size in the dissolution process. The dissolution and disintegration of the tablets were determined.<br>
