Calender control box: Downstream drives menu fig. 4-7 Caution!Only trained and qualified personnel should made the necessary changes. To change one of these values, you have to point to the data field and then you may type the new value directly by the numerical keypad.Speed control In this downstream drives menu there are the data fields to control thecalender and the haul-off drives. You may enter the setpoint value for the speed of the roll drives and the haul-off drive here. The set value for roll 2 (line speed, master drive) is entered in meters per minute, while the values for the other drives are entered as ratio (0.800 to 1.200) relative to the speed of roll 2.Actual speed values and current consumption (load) of the drives are also displayed in this calender menu.Note! If the factor (ratio) is less than 1, the concerned slave drive runs slower than the master drive. A factor equal to 1 means, that the concerned drive runs exactly with the same speed as the master drive. If the factor is greater than 1, the concerned drive runs faster than the master drive.Note! You may control the haul off drive by adjusting the speed set value(correction factor) or via the tension control. In the tension control mode the setpoint for the drive is entered in N (film tension force).
