In this study, H. macrophylla ' Endless Summer' was selected as the research object, and its flower bud differentiation process was observed, and the differentiation law of decorative flowers was summarized, and the key time nodes of the development of decorative calyx pieces were determined. Finally, the decorative florets in five development stages were selected as the transcriptome sequencing materials. The key transcription factors related to the formation of H. macrophylla decorative calyx were mined by transcriptome sequencing, and then cloned and subcellularly located, so as to understand the occurrence mechanism of decorative flowers.
