Abstract: Unplanned exposure is one of the main performance indicators of nuclear power plant radiation protection. Nuclear power plants have strict management and technical measures to avoid unplanned exposure of personnel. Based on some practical experience of operating nuclear power plants, this article introduces unplanned exposure control methods, and studies and discusses two typical unplanned exposure control methods for high radiation risk operations. And management measures can effectively avoid unplanned exposure of personnel. Finally, the problems existing in the practice of unplanned exposure control are discussed and solutions are given, which provide a reference for the unplanned exposure of the control personnel of peer power stations and radiological related units.
