However, the viscosity of the lubricating oil must not be higher than the degree that affects the start of the engine, and requires minimal friction under continuous operating conditions. The use of lubricating oil with too high viscosity will increase the wear of the machine parts, because: <br><br>1. The viscosity of the engine lubricating oil is too large, the flow is slow, the flow is high, and the oil pressure is high, but the amount of lubricating oil is not too much and cannot be added in time Friction surface. <br>2. Due to the high viscosity of the lubricating oil, the friction between the friction surfaces of the machine parts increases. In order to overcome the increased friction, more fuel is consumed, and the output power of the engine is also reduced. <br>3. The viscosity of the lubricating oil is high, the circulation speed of the oil is slow, the cooling and heat dissipation effects are poor, and the engine is easily overheated. <br>4. Due to the slow circulation speed of the lubricating oil, the number of times of passing through the lubricating oil filter is less, and it is difficult to clean the worn metal dust, carbon particles and dust from the friction surface in time.<br><br>Therefore, do not use engine lubricating oil with excessive viscosity, let alone think that the higher the viscosity, the better. Under the condition of ensuring lubrication, according to the temperature range at the time of use, lubricating oil with a small viscosity should be selected as much as possible. However, for engines with more severe wear and larger gaps, lubricating oils with a slightly higher viscosity can be used appropriately.
