4.4 Influencing factors of stigma among stoma patients The multiple linear regression showed that coping self-efficacy, spouses and other family members‟ acceptance of stoma, body image loss, stool leakage, participation in activities with other stoma patients, and age were the main factors that influenced stigma among stoma patients. These variables explained 72.9% (adjusted R2) of the total variation in stigma scores (Table 4).
