The Qing Dynasty was the most prosperous period of Huainan's salt industry, and it was also the time when the educational buildings in the salt district achieved greater development. Not only has the total number of educational buildings increased, but the proportion of higher education buildings in the total number of educational buildings has also gradually increased. This paper uses the historical document analysis method to study the literatures of the Qing Dynasty, such as "Lianghuai Salt Law" and "Local History". Use time development for vertical comparison, study the development and evolution of educational buildings in salt settlements, use geographic scope for horizontal comparison, and study the location and layout of educational buildings. On this basis, the relationship between the development of educational buildings and the evolution of the spatial form of the towns in Yan District has been established, in order to fill the gaps in academic research on educational buildings in the Huainan Salt District.
