I’m an exhibitor and/or sponsor. Can I expect a refund? Upon cancellation of InfoComm 2020 on March 30, 2020, we provided exhibitors with two different options of how to handle their InfoComm 2020 investment (exhibit space, sponsorship, Manufacturers’ Training sessions, and meeting/Audio Demo rooms):◾Refund – InfoComm 2020 contracted and fully-paid exhibitors will be refunded less a pro-rata share of expenses incurred by AVIXA for exhibit space (exhibitors are eligible for a refund for their fees paid for sponsorships, audio demo and exhibitor meeting rooms).◾Transfer - InfoComm 2020 contracted and fully-paid exhibitors can transfer their payments less a pro-rata share of expenses incurred by AVIXA to InfoComm 2021. To provide clarity, a pro-rata share of expenses incurred by AVIXA are all of the trade show expenses incurred up to the point of the cancellation announcement in which the show organizer works with all of its vendors to quickly determine final expenses and wherever possible to negotiate, reduce and mitigate these expenses. The AVIXA InfoComm team is working diligently with its vendors to determine the final expenses, which will then enable AVIXA InfoComm to assess the pro-rata expenses.
