In the development of metal matrix composite material, using the following three major treatment methods: (i) high pressure diffusion bonding, (ii) casting and (iii) powder metallurgy techniques, including vacuum hot pressing (Rawal, 2001). More specifically, diffusion bonding and casting methods have been used continuous fiber reinforced metal matrix composites. Discontinuous reinforcing metal matrix composite materials are usually produced by powder metallurgy and pressure-assisted casting process. Metal matrix composites, e.g. B / Al, Gr / Al, Gr / Mg and Gr / Cu, manufactured by diffusion bonding, the prototype for spacecraft components, such as tubes, plates and panels.
