Heavy turpentine is a byproduct in the processing of turpentine, mainly composed of longifolene. The deep processing and utilization of longifolene is a topic worthy of in-depth research. In this paper, longifolene is first isomerized and aromatization to longifolenyl naphthoman, and then spliced with thiazole ring and azo active group to synthesize a series of intermediate longifolenyl naphthoman thiazole azo derivatives, and then a series of longifolenyl naphthomanone thiazole azo derivatives are obtained through photooxidation. Study their anticancer activity and structure-activity relationship. Intended to provide experimental and theoretical basis for the high-value utilization of heavy turpentine oil.
