According to the two situations that pressure on foundation soil by podium is not less than or less than the buoyancy, the influence of the buoyancy on subsoil bearing capacity of the integrated structure of the main podium building is deduced and analyzed. The results show that the buoyancy has a great influence on the checking calculation of foundation bearing capacity. In the first case, the rising of groundwater level is generally an unfavorable factor to subsoil bearing capacity. In the second case, when the bearing layer of foundation is cohesive soil or silt, the rising of groundwater level is generally a favorable factor to subsoil bearing capacity. When the bearing layer of foundation is sand and broken stone soil, the rising of groundwater level is generally an unfavorable factor to subsoil bearing capacity. This paper suggests that the influence of groundwater should be considered when checking subsoil bearing capacity, and the final value should be chosen comprehensively.
