Reading class is one of the main contents of middle school class, which can improve students' language ability, broaden their knowledge reserve, and enrich their vocabulary. In the previous design of reading lessons, most teachers tend to use the PWP model to cultivate students' reading skills and help students to learn language knowledge, and integrate reading skills with other language skills, and conduct comprehensive language ability training for students. However, the curriculum standards of our country continue to reform, the teaching methods of reading class also appear. For example, Teacher Deng Jianxiu (Deng 2016, 74) uses situational teaching method, and Teacher Song Qiuying (Song, 2018) uses Task-Based Teaching. In the teaching process, most teachers will focus on the use of words, grammar, and sentence patterns. In the pre-reading process, most teachers will provide necessary background knowledge and introduce topics to stimulate students' reading motivation. And before reading, the teacher will explain some new words or key words that affect the understanding of the text. In while-reading, most teachers take students as the leading role in class. The teacher-designed activities aim at training students' reading skills. Teachers will explain the reading tasks clearly, allocate the reading time, and let students find the key and difficult points by themselves. For the explanation of difficult points, teachers should first study the situation, then establish the concept, and then let students get familiar with the structure. In post-reading, teachers encourage students to connect what they read with their own experiences, knowledge, interests and opinions.
