The X-ray diffraction patterns of prepared LSZG powder were measured between 15° and 45°, as shown in Fig. 2. The diffraction peaks of double calcine powder are in good agreement with the single phase crystal structure of Li14Zn(GeO4)4 which was reported earlier by Hong [4] and Wei et al. [8]. The single calcined shows an incomplete solid state reaction, and the powder contains multiple phases Li14Zn(GeO4)4 with also Li4GeO4 (#98–001-3120 [14]) and ZnO (#98–000-6636 [15]). This result is like Wei et al., where a double calcination was used to obtain Li13.9Sr0.1Zn(GeO4)4 with phase purity.
