The customer stated the following and provided the attached screenshots.
“As previously anticipated the issue is resolvable with a few extra steps because Windows 10 does not bootstrap correctly at first launch.
At the first launch, in fact, the HP Sure Recover screen appears and the message on screen indicates that there is no presence of the operating system within the laptop. It also indicates that, in order to install it, we must press the four digit key that appear on screen.
After typing the 4 digit screen, the laptop reboots in Recovery mode showing the error code 0 x000000e and giving different options to pick. In our case, pressing the ESC key the laptop takes us to the Startup menu and we reach the classic boot after picking the Continue Boot option.
After doing all these steps the operating systems, on all three laptops unboxed so far, have worked… I just wanted to give more details on this because we worked it out during yesterday afternoon. Please, take a look at the screenshots taken which might spread some more light on this situation.”
