With the development of society and economy, the number of motor vehicles is increasing year by year. Therefore, traffic accidents and traffic jams are becoming more and more serious. The problem of urban road congestion is solved by making short-term and long-term plans and implementing strategic plans. In many solutions to alleviate vehicle congestion, it is considered to be a more efficient way to solve the congestion problem through the assistance of intelligent transportation. Travel time is an important factor in intelligent transportation system, which can directly provide intuitive traffic information for road managers and users. Travel time is widely used in route guidance, travel information service, traffic demand management, road performance evaluation, etc. At present, there are still problems in the real-time and accuracy of travel time prediction. Especially when there are many vehicles, there will be many interference factors in the process of traffic management. Therefore, the travel time fluctuates greatly. The stability of travel time is mainly affected by the relationship between supply and demand and signal control. In this paper, through the analysis of license plate recognition data, the travel time of urban road section is studied.<br>
