Gaomiao CultureSuch relics are distributed throughout the site. The Houses of Gaomiao culture are typically wooden and rectangular in shape with two or three Bays toward the East or Southeast. It covered an area of 20 to 40 square meters. Probably every house has a kitchen. Mostly houses has a circular barrel-shaped or bag-shaped cellar hole. From these houses a large number of animal bones are also recovered which are consider that these animals are used as their daily diet as well as domesticated animals (1, 5)There are some graves vertical in shape. Flexion is used for the burials with head facing east. These graves are two type. One type is with grave goods other are without grave goods only with small number of stone tablets and animal bones. In one grave woven bamboo mat is found underneath the dead body (3).
