Table 2 shows the yields of U 0.18 mm Mo wires and room temperature mechanical properties of U 0.82 mm Mo wires and U 0.18 mm Mo wires prepared with TM Mo powder and PM Mo powder. The yield of TMS Mo wires is 2.3 % higher than that of PMS Mo wires. Whether for U 0.82 mm Mo wires or for U 0.18 mm Mo wires, the tensile strengths of TMS Mo wires are all higher than that of PMS Mo wires, while elongations are lower than that of PMS Mo wires. Therefore, in wire cutting field, it can affirm that the service performance of TMS Mo wires is better than that of PMS Mo wires.
