The DASS was developed byLovibond and Lovibond (1995), andthe study of validity and reliability of the scale was conducted byAkınand Çetin (2007). The 4-point Likert-type scale consisted of 42 items, and 14 items were included in each category of depression, anxiety, andstress dimensions. The scale was scored as “0 = did not apply to me atall” to “3 = applied to me very much, or most of the time”. The scoresfrom each dimension ranged from 0 to 42. The high scores indicatedthat the person had problems related to that dimension. The CronbachAlpha internal consistency of the scale was 0.89. In this study, theCronbach Alpha value was 0.95; 0.90 for depression, 0.86 for anxiety, and 0.92 for stress.
