ConclusionThe vehicle-bridge united system considers the correlation among the moving point fixed onthe vehicle and the points on the bridge. A novel simulation method was derived based onspectral representation method to generate the wind time histories of the vehicle-bridgeunited system by applying the corresponding wind power spectrum to the two different typesof points. The proposed method can effectively simulate the wind time histories of both thestatic points on the bridge and the vehicle in operation simultaneously.
