This project decided to examine the impact of two sample actions, which are aimed at getting more female employees to use stairs on the five-story construction site. The first thing I did was to put up health signs, linking the use of stairs with health and fitness. The second thing I did was to ask the on-site doctor to send an email. The content is to ask him to point out how good it is for general health to use stairs frequently. The research was carried out by completing the inspection in four weeks: one week after the baseline, one week after the logo, one week after the email and three weeks after that. The usage rate of stairs rose from 69% of baseline to 77% within one week after the sign, and then rose to 89% after email. But four weeks after the email was sent out, the usage rate of stairs dropped to 67%. It was originally expected that these simple actions would lead to more stair use, but the positive effects should not disappear after one month. So it's really hard to make any suggestions based on this evidence.
