Stress can make people vulnerable to infectious diseases, according to a university study.<br>Although dozens of previous studies have shown that stress can change the levels of biochemical substances in the body, researchers still don't believe that these changes will damage human health.<br>The latest study, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, found that stress weakens the body's immune system's ability to respond to infectious diseases.<br>Stress may also reduce the effectiveness of some vaccines, the study added.<br>"There is evidence that although stress generally produces only minor changes in the body's immune system, these changes seem to be enough to have an impact on the body and are more harmful to health," said Professor rono greiser of Ohio State University<br>
