①Turn on the power to the heater in advance to raise the heating cylinder temperature up to the resin melting temperature. However, set the nozzle temperature below the room temperature(room temperature minus 11-20℃).If the difference between the preset and actual temperatures is too small, the heater power may be turned on.②Lower the injection pressure/velocity(approx.5%).③ Attach cotton waste to the tip of the wooden bar, and insert the wooden bar into the heating cylinder to clean it completely.・ Chemical fiber cloth will melt easily when heated, so cotton waste is desirable.・ Exercise care to avoid damage to the inlet and inside of the heating cylinder.Clean the contact surfaces of the heating cylinder and its head without damaging them.Adhesion of dust or resin will cause resin leakage.Put in white paper through the injection window. While looking into the heating cylinder from the nozzle side using a flashlight, check the inside for dust, etc.Go to p.3-10(2-7)when the screw torpedo is already installed. Before installing the screw torpedo in the screw, apply seizure preventive grease to the threaded section.(Avoid excessive application.)Remember that the screw torpedo is left-hand threaded.Assemble it as shown at left, and temporarily install it in the screw. The chamfered side of the seat ring should be on the screw torpedo side.(See left.)Check that the screw is not dirty, and carefully insert the screw into the heating cylinder in a manner that it will not hit against the inlet of the heating cylinder(unchamferred section).・ The diameter of the screw is smaller on the spline side and larger on the flight side.Because of the difference in diameter, care should be exercised until the flight side has entered the heating cylinder.・ When the ring valve is low, it will hit against the heating cylinder.Leave the spline side projecting from the end of the heating cylinder to the extent that the retaining ring can be put around the spline section and a spanner can be applied to the screw torpedo.Put the retaining ring on the spline section of the screw.・ Remove the bolt and split ring that connect the injection ram and retaining ring.・ The connecting pin of the encoder should not touch the encoder.(Connection with the encoder is permissible.2-6 Screw torpedo tighteningMove the injection ram forward at low speed/low pressure, and apply low pressure to the retaining ring.② Tighten the screw torpedo(left-hand thread)with a spanner.・ When moving the injection ram forward, check that the screw retaining ring enters smoothly the inside of the injection ram.・ If the screw turns, carefully raise the injection pressure.① Install the retaining ring so that it will be engaged in the groove(pointed by an arrow)in the encoder, and put the retaining ring around the spline section of the screw.Put the split ring on the screw.Turn the injection unit back to the original position.・ Do not use the nozzle touch cylinder rod as a lever when turning the injection unit.・ Lift the front securing bolt(2-9, p.3-5)while turning the injection unit.Temporarily tighten the front and rear securing bolts.① Check that the screw liner is correctly put in the injection ram.Insert the screw into the injection ram when the retaining ring and split ring have been set.③ Temporarily tighten the mounting bolt to connect the retaining ring.2-10 *Stop the pump motor.① Try to move the screw backward when tightening the retaining ring*1.When the bolt is in a position where tightening is difficult, set the speed(rpm)at approx. 10%, set the metering value at the maximum, and move the screw approx. 10 mm forward.Turn the screw to move it to a position where tightening is easy. After tightening all bolts temporarily, tighten them again diagonally*1.*1:See Table 1, p.3-68.2-11 ※ Exercise care to avoid a burn or other injury.Apply seizure preventive grease to the heating cylinder head mounting bolt, and tighten it temporarily.
