In order to strengthen and improve the management of graduate students, maintain normal teaching order, and guarantee the quality of graduate training, we formulate college-level courses organization and assessment standards in accordance with graduate management regulations of Tianjin University, which apply to the actual situation of graduate students for full-time education. According to the overall training objectives and French CTI certification requirements, the college absorbs French advanced engineer education concepts into our course organization process, which make TIEI not only meet the French CTI certification requirements, but also meet the training standards of master of engineering in our university. Therefore, combined with the teaching concepts, we implements a procedural assessment method and a compound assessment mode, which breaks the old model of adopting one standard and one method to measure students. What is more, according to the characteristics of teaching content and the specific requirements of each teaching part, we formulate a student evaluation system based on ability orientation, and widely use multiple assessment methods with equal emphasis on knowledge and ability, such as homework, classroom questions, TD, TP, model display, design assignment, final open report, final exam paper test, etc. which can short the distance between classroom teaching and actual engineering requirements, and enhance students’ adaptive ability, practical exploration ability and engineering practice ability.
