Application of green building design in architectural design<br>Vingo Jiang Lijun<br>(Tongze South Street, Heping District, Shenyang 110005, Liaoning Province)<br>[Abstract] green building design concept is an advanced design concept emerged under the background of wide application of green building. It emphasizes that the principles of environmental protection, energy saving and low carbon should be followed in the design and construction of buildings, and the energy consumption of buildings should be reduced as much as possible to prevent pollution to the ecological environment and harm to people's health and life safety, which has high application value. This paper will discuss and analyze the connotation and application advantages of green building design concept, and elaborate the effective application strategies of this advanced design concept in architectural design, give full play to the advantages of green building design concept, improve the quality of architectural design, provide reliable basis for the construction of construction projects, and create a safe, green and comfortable living environment.<br>[Key words] green building design; design concept; application<br>
