c):Toothbrush’s physicaltest :No. Items Requirements Results Verdict1 Visual inspection The shaft of the toothbrush shall be manufactured from a suitable plastic materialand not recycled, which is impact resistant and free from any objectionable odouror taste. All surfaces of the shaft shall be free from sharp edges or corners whichmay cause injury to the user during normal use. Complied P2 Measurement of fastening of the filament in the toothbrush The filaments shall be of nylon 6.6, 6.10, 6.12 or any other synthetic material withrelevant physical properties and clinical effectiveness of at least equal to those ofnylon material. Nylon 6.6 P3 Test of fastening resistance to corrosion and rust The tufts shall be fixed into the brush, that it does not allow easy extraction，each individual tuft shall be held in place with a corrosion resistant fasteningaccording to the test mentioned in the standard in item (2.1).
