A coach is a peer or manager who works with an employee to motivate the employee, help him or her develop skills, and provide reinforcement and feedback. Coaches may play one or more of three roles:1. Working one-on-one with an employee, as when giving feedback.2. Helping employees learn for themselves—for example, helping them find experts and teaching them to obtain feedback from others3. Providing resources such as mentors, courses, or job experiences
