In this section, we first design three rules and then propose a decentralized Forwarding-Aware Cooperative Scheduling (FACS) scheme, aiming to schedule broadcast links regarding the allocated task of each node when recovering lost BSMs. In FACS, the scheduling of broadcast links are divided into two processes, that is, slot hopping and slot swapping. Slot hopping is used to find vacant slots for nodes to broadcast BSMs, which can reduce MRR and shorten MRD directly; slot swapping is used to guide the nodes swap their slots to further reduce MRR and shorten MRD after slot hopping. Note FACS is proposed based on the frame of DSRC, and it could be also modified for Cellular V2X in the MAC layer.
