In the evaluation and feedback of English homework, it is clear from Table 11 that the main body of current English post-course homework are corrected by teachers (48.8%). Half of the students (21.9% and 39.3%) think that the current way of homework correction is single. An overwhelming majority of students (50.7% and 32.8%) would like their teachers to give specific comments in addition to a mark or grade when marking their homework. This would help students to better understand and consolidate their knowledge from the homework. Also, timely feedback from teachers would increase students' motivation to complete homework, but 28.6% of teachers still fail to correct and give feedback to students' homework in a timely manner.
